Christmas Musical

Christmas will be on tomorrow! Am so in mood now as I went to a Christmas Musical organised by the Charis Church Center at PGRM. Was amazed by the work done as the church ain't really big and there were such a big crowd attending the concert.

After the concert, got to makan "Al-Ikhsan" mamak store. Sounds familiar ? lol some kind of sports shop in Sg. Wang? Well yes it is but the shop's name is actually Al-"blabla" (sry couldn't remember the name) which was pronounce wrongly, or rather jokingly by Johnny. After the musical went to Johnny's house. Just hang about, saying hi to auntie, visiting his birthday-girl niece and just basically, wasting time around.

in 5 days time I'll be off to NS and hell, I'll miss KL. I'll miss my family, my friends, computer and obviously football. I'll not be able to watch Liverpool for roughly 3 months! Gosh that's a lot!

It's Christmas eve, anybody with the mood to go for countdown? Or movie? Anyone?

Happy Guo Dong!

Hmm every traditional Chinese family around would be celebrating this I guess. Every year on 22nd December, this traditional Chinese celebration, 'Guo Dong', or Goh Dong depending on how you pronounce it will be celebrated. We'll make some 'tong yuin', or glutinous rice ball..? LOL I am sure of the name.

In 3 days time it will be Christmas, and in another 7 days I'll be off to National Service. Haven't get anything prepared yet which includes body check-up, a Bank Pertanian account, packing of cloth, etc.

Oh ya, made 2 pairs of new spectacle on Thursday. Its actually buy 2 free 1 at RM168, kind of cheap huh? As I might need extra spectacle during the course of NS, so I decided to take the offer.

Well this week passed relatively slow to me. Am bored of the games i play and also a result of the inability to get the new FM08 disc. No matter what I've to get the game before I am off to NS!

Confrontation

Once again, I was confronted by some punk heads on today's evening. Not once but TWICE.

1st scenario: As Eric and I were walking back to the BTR LRT Station, there were 2 punk heads on our tail. We wasn't aware momentarily until one of them say

" chai.. chai, ada 2 ringgit ar?" asked one of the punk head

" 2 ringgit ? takde takde" I replied

" takde ke? ade 40sen? " the punk head ask again

" takde takde " I replied again, losing my patience

" abis ade rokok? bagi satu la.. " he ask again

" rokok? pigi beli sendiri la kat sana " I replied, with a sarcastic tune

The punk head leave the scene after the verbal exchangement.

2nd scenario: Then, as usual I take the usual walkway heading back home. As I reaches the lobby, or the motorbikes parking areas, a group of punk heads, about 20-30 of them were gathering there as if there'll be a gang fight going on. Of course I dare not messing up with such a large number of them. I took the alternative way heading towards the staircase which is isolated from them. But unlucky enough, they spotted me. About 6-7 of them come towards me, crowded me and

" Chai ade 1 ringgit " ask one of them, as the rest of them either stopping me in my track, searching my pocket for wallet and with the "cari gaduh" look on their face.

" takde takde " I answered, pushing them away.

" alar chai, 1 ringgit pun takde ke? " remark one of them

" ... " I didn't answered a thing and walk away

What disappoint me most is that they were sitting RIGHT IN FRONT of the RELA Office, and yet no actions were taken against those fellas. Aren't the RELA member supposed to fight off such criminals? Aren't they suppose to provide a safety environment to the neighbourhoods? I seriously doubt their credential after such large group of unfriendly dressed youths were allowed to gather RIGHT IN FRONT of their very own eyes. The exhaustion of today's football session with my friends taken it's tool on me as part of the reason why the confrontation happen. But, welcome to 'hell-ish' neighbourhood!

Bored of being bored

Boredom kills. Seriously. I am bored of being bored. I couldn't get something better to do other than ;

  • Game
  • Movie
  • Sleep
  • More game, movie and sleep.

The past 5 days I was out of home on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All those have been in Time Square, watching movie. Monday for the Golden Compass which was really boring, Wednesday for Last Breathe which was freakish enough and Friday for I am Legend which was awesome enough! The part which the dog (Sam) died was so touching except for the moment when John describe Will Smith's expression "why look like OS wan?" (p/s : Morianz understand this ^^ ) This line broke the silence of the cinema all because of our laughing noise.

Oh ya walking around the Bukit Bintang area these few days make me realise that today's fashion is outta mind. All these kind of dressings weren't even considered as a piece of cloth few years back and now they are wearing it at shopping malls! But have to give them a round of applause as they are brave enough to wear such outfits out in the public.

Last Breathe

Hmm.. You might not hear this so often, but Choo Wai Kien watched a horror movie! If you know me well, I don't pay to freak myself out. But after *ahem* the 'commander' of the day and also the person who was late for nearly 2 hours to the initial meeting time bought the ticket, I had no choice but to watch it. But to be honest, there aren't many scary moments except for the freakish bloody scene accompanied by the horror some music. During the movie, she covered her eyes with her handbag for about the WHOLE MOVIE! Such funny moments should have been recorded and posted up to Yuotube =p

Dinner time after the movie. Destination : Hong Kong Food Culture. Ate duck rice and then chit chatted for nearly 2 hours! All kind of rubbish we chatted about and we laughed out loudly as though as nobody's business. We only realise how late it is after the waitress approaches us and asked " have you paid?". LOL-ness as I answered "yea" but, we continue to sit down there for another 10 or 20 minutes! The facial expression of the waitress was so obvious that they want us to leave, IMMEDIATELY. And leave we did, to the joy of those waitress.

As I reaches home, I called Kel's couzy, Albert to enquire about the vacancy which Kel introduced and to my delight, he said I might start working as soon as this weekend! Desperately need a job to cover up my own expenses before i am off to the National Service.

Grand-ish Pavilion

The Golden Compass wasn't as nice as I would like it to be. But still a good work from the writer and the producer. Heard that this movie was adapted from a book written by a little girl. Bravo as I think not many of us could do so.

After the movie, went window shopping at The Pavilion. One word to describe Pavilion, GRAND. Obviously, it wasn't made for the teenagers or the middle class people to shop in. The shops in the mall is mostly branded brands and most important of all, the toilet. I can say that the toilet is better than that of Times Square and MBSSKL. LOL

Oh ya lately I am into this online game, Perfect World. Still figuring my way out there and hpefully it won't be long before I could master it. =)

Pulau Pangkor

I am back from Pulau Pangkor! Well trust me its superbly freakishly awesome! Too bad to those who turned down the opportunity to join us for this trip. The trip was well planned and all of us was having loads of fun! It might be LONG but I am not blaming anyone for not reading but I am still blogging it, for myself perhaps? And a thank you in advance if you do and really read it!

1st day:
Reach school on about 7.30. Gather with the rest at sudut bacaan at school and Mr. Foong Wing Luo, our organiser reach about 15 minutes later together with the bus. I was seated at the back seat of the bus with Shim, Jun Min and Szeto. It took us nearly 3 hours to reach the Lumut Jetty. Tickets given, and off we go heading towards Pangkor Island. All of us went to the open deck to enjoy the sea breeze amidst the hot sun. Once we reach the Pangkor Island's jetty, we got onto the van made ready for us by the 'taiko', our tour guide and heads toward the Coral Bay Resort and hell yeah! It's just a minute walk from our hotel to the beach! and right below my room is the swimming pool! Just as I thought, sea foods. On our first meal at Pulau Pangkor, we were treated with some locally cooked chinese food and it is tasty. After the meal, we got our bicycle and we cycle around the area, 29 people in a group. Mat rempit? haha outta my way! I then cycle to the snooker centre with Wing Luo, Yap, Ryan, Wing Yip and Chen Fai. Lost to Chen Fai by a thread-like-margin. Damn it was close to getting in that vital 7-points black ball! After that I went around the island by myself on bicycle and I discovered that Pangkor Island is a Chinese area. Back to the resort then and Captain Ball's next! Jump into the 4-feet deep pool quickly and teamed up with Seng Hang, Melvin, Szeto, Arjuna, Joseph and Eric in that 7 people/team game. Honestly, we was enjoying until we did not realise that we were making a whole lot of noise! Exhausted, Dinner's next and nothing much about that. Then, 18 of us went to the CC and the rest to the snooker centre. Played DOTA and lemme tell you, its fun! Chen Fai's bike was stolen and as a result, Eric gave his to Chen Fai and I rode Eric back to the resort. It was tiring but these moment are printed into my brain and I will never forget this. While some were playing PS2, I gamble Black Jack with the normal kakis. Won some money and then I am off to bed ready for the next day out into the sea!

2nd day:
To the beautiful sea of Pangkor. 2 boats were there for us and i got onto the boat. Was introduced to the landmarks of Pangkor Island by the tour guide and gosh, it amazes me. Next up, initially I thought I saw a patch of oil on the surface of the sea, but the truth proves me wrong. It was actually a shallow area where the coral reefs were on. Snorkeled for the first time! Damn it was fun! Too bad thou I cant swim and couldn't get too far from the boat. Got back up into the boat and then the guide show us some of his daring moves like a quick turn on a speed boat and drifting on the sea! Splashes of water made me cool as we removed our shirt before diving in. Got onto the fish feeding area and we feed the fish with bread. This time, I could get further with the help of some swimming tips from my friend. I then had a hand on the banana boat together with some of my friends. 7 person per ride and it costs us 15buck. Was dropped into the sea 3 times but again, its fun! Highlights of the ride was I was hit at my balls by Seng Hang when we were drop into the sea and when Keh Bin drop before all of us, far far away from the us. Oh ya Johnny dived into the sea from the banana boat before we was ordered so. Too bad we couldn't get a picture of any of these moments. After the outing to the sea, Captain ball again and this time we enjoyed ourselves even more! Played almost 3 hours and before all of us get back to our rooms, I, Shim and Johnny did some daring moves as we dived into the pool from a height of like 5 foots above water level. Splashes were everywhere and Shim even kicked a ball right against the wall. Only then, we realised that all our illegal moves were recorded by the CCTV! We runned off from the pool and get back up into our room, getting ready for our dinner. After dinner, it was raining and we were grounded for only activity beyond our room. Some were playing PS2, Gambling, Drinking, chit-chatting and some were watching a comedy show. AT the time like 11++, A call from Kelvin's room saying that

"Andrew lum jor argh!!"

What it means here is Andrew is drunk! he alone drank 3 bottles of Tiger beer and hell, He is drunk. All of us were troubled by him and get into laughter by his moves. He crapped a whole lots of thing and eventually tire himself up at 2am. All these moments were recorded by Seng Hang's phone.

3rd day:
Got up in the morning, washed up and breakfast at the restaurant again. Asam laksa doesn't taste as good as their sea foods. Got back up to our room and pack up, ready to get back home. Gosh were so heavy hearted of leaving Pangkor Island so quickly. Before getting to the jetty, we get ourselves to a souvenir shop and some local products such as Ikan Bilis, salted fish, Squids and so on. Upon getting to the jetty, we took our seats at the lower deck, the back part. The reason why is because the open deck was wet and crowded before we got onto the ferry. I took my sit, chatted a while and then as the ferry moves, I, Johnny, Yew Son, Kar Heng, Szeto, Joel, Yap and Shim went to the top deck to have some air. As i come back to the lower deck for my seat, an Indian auntie seated leisurely seemingly as if she has the right to do so and has no need to apologise nor to give me back my place. Of course, I am educated and I do not wish to get into brawl with an auntie in the ferry. Reaches Lumut Jetty, bus arrive and we get us onto the bus heading back to KL. Stopped at Bidor for a lunch. The 'duck-foot-mee' was nice but it didn't really get me fulled. Maybe I was too tired. Reach KL at about 6.30 and then back to home. I really miss these moments and it'll be in my memory forever.

" Tilam Tilam! Jual tilam lama beli baru~! "

" here! pass to the right! "
" nice one! "

As the ball which i crossed to my teammate was headed into the back of the net, and they come celebrating the goal which he had scored and the brilliant cross i made, all of them sounded like

" Tilam tilam! Jual tilam lama beli baru ~! "

I was like WTF for a moment. Cause as it seems usual enough, ones does not realise that it is a dream until he or she wakes up. The dream seems real enough to me. And again, all of them sounds ;

" Tilam tilam! Jual tilam lama beli baru ~! "

Sigh. Waking me up while I was dreaming is torturing. Even though it is 11 in the morning, but ain't it still early in the day where you shout out those stuff?! Dei bro, I was working a part time job yesterday and now you cant even let me have a good sleep?

I hate you " tilam tilam, jual tilam lama beli baru"
